11 Indie Fashion Shopping Sites
Are you tired of shopping at Wal Mart and buying the same old rags that some third world 9 year old made, then it's time to start looking at indie fashion.
Indie clothing, just like anything else made or produced independantly, is clothing that is not associated with any major corporation. There are two very important things that come about because of indie fashion. One, you don't end up with a product that was mass produced and brought over to be sold at a price that is marked up sky high. Two, you support independant designers who are just trying to support themselves, while at the same time you take profits away from the evil mega corporations.
Unfortunately you can't just walk into a big department store and expect to see indie clothing just lying there on the rack. You will need to scour the internet to find these unique items.

Modcloth - This is probably the more well known indie clothes outlet. They have a large selection of independant clothing as well as home decor, so you can wear and live as an indie.

Cry Wolf - These guys have everything for everybody, there's even things for pets. There site design just screams indie fashion, down to the very last detail.
Ex-Boyfriend - Those with a dark sense of humor will love this site, they only retail clothing, but their designs are very edgy and they're original.
Raygun Robyn - This site is for tentacle lovers because you know that the sites owners are crazy about them. Tentacle earrings, bags, shirts and more.
Tizzalicious - A site for girls who love kawaii japanese stuff.
Genki Hat - A hat specialty store that are inspired by anime and cartoons such as the Gloomy Bear and Domo.
Etsy - A large marketplace for hand made products, so if you are looking for a large selection of indie stuff, this is like ebay for indie products.
Plastic Land - The designs seem like they came out of an Alice in Wonderland book, and they have home decor, accessories and clothing. All their products are things that will make your friends go Awww.
MoyaTees - This is a small company with over 300 different designs, and because of the high demand, they are flying off there virtual shelves. Although they do have a main website, theire cafe press page has a lot more selections to choose from.
Pixics - A relatively new company that features indie fashion, accessories, and more. Watch this company carefully, because they might be the next big thing in the indie industry.
